Three local educators have been named winners of the 2021 Quality Educator Grants. Fund for Public Education’s Executive Director Jennifer Jellen explains the Quality Educator Grant program was started by the Rotary Club of Jackson Hole Foundation to celebrate teachers and school staff who go above and beyond to create a more impactful and positive learning environment for local students.
This year’s Quality Educator recipients are Art Teacher Lauren Brzozowski, School Nurse Esther Ellis, and Science Teacher Amy Manhart. Each winner will receive a $1,000 grant and will be honored at a special Jackson Hole Rotary Club luncheon.
In addition to receiving the Quality Educator Grant, Esther Ellis was also named Teton County School District #1 Staff Person of the Year for her extraordinary work during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Amy Manhart was named TCSD#1 Teacher of the Year for her exceptional work with students.
