The closure of Yellowstone will impact those who planned to spend the night in the Park by way of Jackson. In coordination with the Town of Jackson, Jackson Police Department, Teton County, and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, those impacted may spend the night at the Teton County Fairgrounds for self-contained camping.
There are no water, sewer, or electric hook-ups or other amenities and campfires are not allowed. Users will be expected to clean-up after themselves and their pets. Unfortunately, the closure of Yellowstone National Park could last several days or more, and the temporary camping at the fairgrounds will only be available the night of June 13th.
