The Wyoming Office of Tourism has featured the Greater Teton area non-profit organization Teton Adaptive Sports at work in a commercial and on its website. The nearly 2 1/2-minute commercial features board member Ryan Burke along with program director Cherene Vanian guiding the six-person Sanchez family on a climbing trip in the Grand Teton National Park while on vacation. Two of the children have Down Syndrome, but soon learn that they can climb alongside their family members and have equal the fun and adventure as everyone else. An article called, Teton Adaptive Sports: Empowering everyone to get outside, is also found on the Wyoming Office of Tourism website. The brief article, featuring photos by former adaptive ski instructor Corey Connett and professional photographer Peter Lobozzo, focuses on how TAS helps people of all abilities to reap the same benefits of tourism in Wyoming as everyone.
