Teton Adaptive Sports’ board of directors has announced that Jackson Native Ryan McDonald has been elected as chair of the board, effective immediately. McDonald takes over for Liz McCune whose two-year term ended December 31st. The mission of Teton Adaptive Sports is to promote, support and develop outdoor sports and recreation opportunities for people with disabilities living in and visiting the Greater Teton Area.
McDonald has served as a Teton Adaptive Sports board member since fall 2018 where he leads the organization’s governance committee working on a number of high-priority projects such as board recruitment, business and policy development and strategic planning for long term growth and sustainability of the organization. Teton Adaptive Sports this year celebrates its 15th anniversary of service to people with diabilities.
