During the heavy downpour on Saturday Teton County Search and Rescue volunteers got called to rescue a woman who had been hiking on the North Teton Trail of Teton Canyon and was unable to continue due to a pre-existing medical condition.
The call for help came into at about 5:10 p.m., and the County dispatched two teams with one from Jackson and a second group from Teton Valley.
Rescuers reached the woman about two hours later and the volunteers transported the patient via wheeled litter down to the trailhead.
