The Teton County Planning Commission approved some affordable employee housing this week.
The commissioners considered a proposal from the Astoria Park Conservancy to build two units with four bedrooms for employees that work at the famous hot springs.
Paige Byron Curry, the executive director of Astoria Park Conservancy said that they feel strongly that by providing workforce housing they are able to create a more sustainable organization and also add to the inventory of workforce housing in our community.
The new units will replace an existing building and will include 6 parking spaces.
The development complies with the master plan for Astoria Hot Springs.
Teton County approved the employee housing unanimously.
