The Teton County Treasurer’s Office has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association for the presentation of the fiscal year 2022 budget. Teton County is the only county in the Wyoming to be honored with the coveted award. This marks the fifth year that Teton County has been honored with this award.
To be selected for the award, the budget document is reviewed by selected members of the Government Finance Officers Association professional staff and by outside reviewers with experience in public-sector budgeting.
The Government Finance Officers Association, based in Chicago, is a major professional association providing top quality publications, training programs, services, and products designed to enhance the skills and performances of those responsible for government finance policy and management.
