The Teton County Health Department is asking the Board of County Commissioners to allow them to apply for a grant from the Wyoming Department of Health to update the air handling system and remodel of their building.
The money is provided by the state for improvements for capacity and resilience against infectious diseases like COVID-19.
The Health Department request is close to the $500,000 maximum grant amount for the two projects described in the grant request.
These funds will be used to pay for upgrades to the HVAC system and also be used for a remodel of the current board room.
