Teton County Pet Partners (TCPP) will host an open observation session for therapy animal team evaluations on May 19, 2025, at St. John’s Episcopal Church’s Hansen Hall in Jackson, Wyoming. The event, starting at 5 p.m. and ending by 6 p.m., allows the public to watch three evaluations to learn about becoming a therapy animal team with their dog or cat. Attendees can stay for all sessions or drop in briefly, entering and exiting quietly to avoid distracting teams. TCPP registers and matches volunteer teams to community needs, such as reading with children, comforting hospital patients, and visiting seniors.
The observation offers insight into the evaluation process and helps determine if therapy work suits prospective volunteers and their pets. TCPP’s therapy teams provide comfort, connection, and joy across various settings, reducing stress and supporting community well-being. For questions or to learn more, contact TCPP Director Kelly Chadwick at info@tcpetpartners.org or 307-690-8532. Additional details are available at www.tcpetpartners.org.
