The Teton County Commission has approved the renewal of an agreement for The Teton County Sheriff to provide a School Resource Officer for the schools located in the Teton County including Jackson Hole High School, Munger Mountain Elementary School, and Wilson Elementary School.
The Teton County School District pays $65,000.00 to Teton County for this officer. The current agreement has been in place since 2017 and renews on an annual basis. No terms or compensation are changing in this agreement extension.
The Town of Jackson provides a School Resource Officer for the Jackson Hole Middle School and the two in-town elementary schools.
The School District will be updating the agreements with the town and county next year.
