Teton County Says Follow CDC

March 18, 2021 by Jackson Hole Radio

Earlier the month. Wyoming Governor’s Mark Gordon said that he would lower restrictions in statewide health orders to allow bars, restaurants, theaters and gyms to resume normal operations beginning March 16. He also said that indoor gatherings of less than 500 people and all outdoor gatherings are no longer governed by the statewide health orders.  So, the Teton County Health Department recommends that businesses and organizations follow COVID-19 guidance as developed by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Businesses and organizations should also continue to follow all current local and state health orders, including the Teton County’s mask order which is currently in effect through April 16, 2021.
Teton County Director of Health, Jodie Pond, MPH stated, “We feel it is important to continue to follow guidance to continue to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 in our community.  These guidelines are based on what we know works to decrease the number of cases in our community and keep businesses open.  Vaccines are our best hope.  When you are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination please do you part and get one.”
