With the increase in the number of COVID cases once again in Jackson Hole, the Teton County Health Department is encouraging all residents, workers, and visitors to wear masks in public indoor settings, regardless of their vaccination status.
This recommendation is based on new guidance provided by the Wyoming Department of Health, which follows the CDC’s change to mask wearing recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals that occurred on July 27th.
Teton County Health Department evaluates 8 different metrics that make up the overall COVID risk level on a weekly basis. According to the current metrics, Teton County’s overall COVID risk level is in the Yellow, or Low Risk level.
