Teton County vaccine appointments and walk-in appointments available

April 16, 2021 by Jackson Hole Radio

Additional COVID vaccine appointments have been released this morning on the Teton County Health Department’s vaccine webpage, www.tetoncountywy.gov/covidvax for Thursday, April 22, 2021. Anyone 16+ who lives or works in Teton County, WY can go to our webpage and book an appointment. Vaccine appointments will continue to be released weekly for the following week. Please check this webpage for available appointments. Individuals who are 16 and 17 years old and want to be vaccinated must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older and a parent or guardian must sign their consent form. There are plenty of COVID vaccines available in our community. If you are interested in receiving the COVID vaccine please do not wait, book your appointment today.
We are now accepting walk-ins from 8:30am -11:30am any day our clinic is operating. Our clinic is currently located at 510 US-89 Jackson, WY where Target will be located. Please check on our webpage, www.tetoncountywy.gov.covidvax to see the days the COVID vaccine clinic is open. Individuals can walk-in for either the first dose or the second dose of the COVID vaccine produced by Pfizer. This is a two-dose vaccine approved under emergency use authorization for individuals 16+. If you received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine somewhere outside of Teton County and need a second dose, please bring your COVID vaccine card and make sure that you received your first dose at least 17 days before you walk-in.
If you received the first dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine outside of Teton County, WY and need a second dose we will be holding a second dose clinic on Saturday, April 24, 2021. You can walk-in to this clinic between 8:30am-11:30am to receive a second dose of the COVID vaccine produced by Moderna. Please remember to bring your COVID vaccine card and make sure that you received your first dose at least 24 days before April 24, 2021. This will be Teton County Health Department’s last Moderna COVID vaccine clinic for the foreseeable future because Teton County Health Department’s COVID vaccine allocation contains mostly the Pfizer vaccine. We recommend that individuals reach out to Smith’s and Albertsons to see if they can accommodate you and provide you the second dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine if you received your first dose elsewhere.
If you have questions or concerns about the COVID vaccine and want to speak to one of our nurses please call our COVID hotline at 307-732-8628, option 3. Please leave a message and one of our nurses will return your call. As of April 12, 2021, 13,808 first doses of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccine have been given out and 914 doses of the Janssen COVID vaccine have been given out. It is estimated that 39.72% of Teton County’s population is fully vaccinated.
