Teton county health officials say that conditions in Jackson have improved enough to drop the COVID-19 risk level to ‘Orange’ or moderate.
The Teton County COVID update on Friday noted that a reduction in the percent of positive tests and stress on the number of available hospital beds contributed to the drop. The county had spent several weeks at condition ‘Red’ indicating high risk of coronavirus infection.
The Teton County Health Department remains concerned about community spread of the virus and the capacity to provide contact tracing.
As of Friday 51 active cases of COVID-19 are reported in Teton County with an additional 124 residents under quarantine.
