Teton School District 401 in Teton Valley, Idaho, is addressing concerns over the spreading COVID19 virus. The district has as one of the five sections of their strategic plan ways to assure the safety of students and staff. In relation to the risk of this coronavirus, they we have already reached out to professionals
within the health field, including District 7 Public Health and Teton Valley Health, and will continue to work with the State
Department of Education. As new developments seem to come up every day, they say they will continue to communicate with parents and community. However, they echo the advise being universally given: 1) wash your hands, and 2) stay home if you are sick. So far 12 states have confirmed cases of the coronavirus. As of Tuesday, there have been no reported cases
in Idaho; and of the states that bordering Idaho, Utah has 1 case, Oregon has 2 cases, and Washington has 30 cases. There are also NO cases yet reported in Wyoming or Montana.
