Two people were hospitalized following a traffic accident in Driggs Monday morning. According to the Idaho State Police, a truck pulling a utility trailer that was eastbound on state highway 33 swerved to avoid hitting a stopped vehicle preparing to make a left turn.
It collided with a westbound vehicle causing that vehicle to overturn and eject its two occupants. Neither the man or woman ejected were wearing seatbelts.
The wreck blocked the highway for approximately three hours. Circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.
