Like Yellowstone, which posted its second-best October on record, Grand Teton National Park reports recreational visitation for the month was also the second busiest on record. The Park hosted an estimated 245,834 recreation visits in October 2021 which was down 30% from October of 2020. However, this is also a 32% increase from October 2019 when the Park hosted 186,487 visitors during the same month. Year to date, there have been 3,739,771 recreational visits to Grand Teton National Park. Total visits so far this year including non-recreational travel is 5,116,644 for a 21.5% increase over 2021.
