The Teton County Health Department is strongly encouraging residents to get their flu shot this season.
They will begin offering Flu vaccines at their office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, beginning September 26th. They will have a preservative-free quadrivalent vaccine, which protects against four strains of the flu virus.
Individuals ages 65 years old and over are eligible to receive a high-dose version of the vaccine.
On Friday, September 30th, they will host a flu clinic at the Senior Center of Jackson Hole from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
In addition to the Teton County Health Department, other area pharmacies have flu vaccines available now. Please contact your preferred provider for more information on their vaccine availability. For more information, call 307-732-8628.
