Teton County’s outdoor ice-skating rinks are ready for action. The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department continues to work with local partners and the community to provide winter outdoor opportunities, and as of Wednesday, both Owen Bircher and Fairgrounds ice rinks were in great shape. Staff was also able to get out and pack Powderhorn Park over the last couple of days, but no firm date has been set yet for its completion. Parks and Rec officials say they are shooting for ice by Christmas for that location. The public can check online for updates, hours of operations and reservation information including a calendar of reservations and open skate times That site is at tetonparksandrec.org.
