Local artists, Teton County Library wants you! They need an artist to create a graphic design for a creative campaign called “The Library is calling, and I must go.”
If you’re an artist living or working in Teton County, including surrounding commuter communities and the Wind River Reservation, submit a one-page pdf with 3-4 examples of your artwork to communications@tclib.org by 5:00 p.m. on SAT, MAY 13. You don’t have to interpret the new theme unless you are chosen.
The library will let artists know the outcome of the selection process by May 30. The new design will be revealed on a sticker this summer. If you have any questions, please contact communications@tclib.org.
The library’s previous marketing campaign by artist Walter Gerald was a hit! The campaign had the theme “Came for the Mountain Life, Stayed for the Library,” which turned into a series of eight fun stickers that you’ve probably seen around town. The art also appeared on other items like t-shirts, hats, and patches, and was even featured in the Library’s Old Bill’s Fun Run campaigns.
