The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The Virginian Lodge, will host a special Chamber Mixer and Birthday Party on May 1, 2025, to celebrate the lodge’s 60th anniversary. Held at the Virginian Saloon on 750 W Broadway in Jackson, Wyoming, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the event honors the lodge’s legacy as a cornerstone of Western hospitality since its founding in 1965. The celebration will highlight the lodge’s history, including its unexpected role as a 1970s disco hotspot, with a retro-themed party featuring a live vinyl DJ set by DJ VerT-OnE.
During a 2020 renovation, staff uncovered 175 vinyl records—mostly disco and country from before 1982—in a hidden attic room, which will be spun during the event to evoke the saloon’s vibrant past. Stacey Brogan, General Manager of The Virginian Lodge, invited the community to join in celebrating six decades of memories and shared stories. Guests are encouraged to wear disco attire and enjoy specialty cocktails and nostalgic tunes. The mixer, part of the Chamber’s ongoing series, fosters networking among local businesses, nonprofits, and professionals, celebrating Jackson Hole’s community spirit.
