The National Weather Service has posted the snow measurement for the end of February which failed to break the record. The all-time record for February was 56 inches, and the weather service says by the end of the month Jackson had received 52.9 inches.
Still, this season is in the top 20 snowiest seasons on record already – number 18 – and we all know, we still have more Wyoming winter to go. So far, the national weather service says 95.2 inches of snow have fallen on Jackson so far this year which is well above the seasonal norm of 61.2 inches.
