The Travel and Tourism board has done the opposite of what they are used to doing and are asking potential visitors to not visit Jackson Hole at this time
In a letter to the business community in Jackson Hole, the board said they have ceased their paused all of our current tourism marketing campaigns.
They also asked that the local business community not market for tourism at this time.
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce commented in a communication to members Tuesday afternoon, “We know many of our members are business that rely solely on tourism and all of you are eager to get back to work, however the safety of our community, staff and healthcare workers have been identified as our priority. We know this is not a good time to visit our small gateway community but we also know this is a very difficult message to share as a business community.”
