It’s time to get your yard waste cleaned up before it gets covered with snow, and the Town of Jackson wants to help.
So, free compostable yard waste bags are available beginning next week and can be picked up at the Town Hall at 150 East Pearl Avenue, at Public Works Administrative Offices at 450 West Snow King Avenue, and at the Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling Center located at 3270 South Adams Canyon Road.
Residential Drop off of yard waste will be available at the Trash Transfer Station from October 31st to November 5th during regular operating hours with the first 500 pounds free.
Fall Clean Up Day is Friday, November 4th with free residential yard waste drop off at the Teton County Fairgrounds Parking Lot from 9am-6pm.
Only clean wood, branches, and leaves can be dropped off. No trash can be included, and no dog poop is allowed.
Burn Week is also on the calendar starting October 29th through November 6th. Please call Teton County Dispatch prior to burning at 733-2331.
