The Town of Jackson is currently accepting letters of application for positions on the Planning and Zoning Commission/Board of Adjustment. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, although this deadline might be extended.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be residents and qualified electors of Jackson for at least one year before their appointment.
- Candidates cannot hold any other public office or position within the Town government.
While specific experience isn’t required, a basic understanding of fields like planning, architecture, natural resource management, or real estate could be beneficial. The Commission consists of up to seven members, appointed by the Town Council for three-year terms, with the new term beginning immediately upon appointment.
