The Town of Jackson plans to reopen Town buildings today, although anyone entering those buildings to conduct business will need to wear a facemask. Social distancing measures will be in place as buildings reopen and the public is encouraged to continue conducting business via alternate methods whenever possible. Some departments will be requiring appointments to meet with staff, please call ahead or check the website for additional information. Alternatively, the public is encouraged to utilize the drop box located outside of the Town Hall for utility payments. Town Council meetings will continue to be hosted via WebEx and open to the public virtually. The public will also be able to participate in those meetings and make comment in person in the Council Chambers while meetings are in progress, while observing appropriate social distancing parameters.
