Town Plans Focus on History

The Jackson Town Council will consider a major update to the community’s Land Development Regulations. Those revisions will establish a new Historic Preservation program, update the zoning standards for the Town Square area, and establish a new Town Center Design Overlay with architectural standards to protect the Western Character of the Town Square area. The public may access the town’s webpage to review all of the proposed materials and narrated videos that summarize the proposed changes. In addition, they may provide comments in a survey at the website. Those comments should be submitted by October first.
