- A closure on Mount Washburn will be in effect from September 9-13. Closed areas will include:
- Chittenden Road (from Grand Loop Road)
- Chittenden trailhead parking area
- Chittenden Road-Mount Washburn Trail

- Crews will work to improve the trail surface.
- Hikers can access Mount Washburn via the Dunraven Pass – Mount Washburn Trail.
- If poor weather conditions prohibits work to be done during this time frame, the closure period will be moved to September 16-20.
