A tractor-trailer rounding a corner on US Highway 26 along Palisades Reservoir between Alpine, Wyoming and Irwin, Idaho broke traction on a curve and fishtailed, nearly striking an oncoming Bonneville County, Idaho Sheriff’s deputy’s car.
The frightening incident was captured on the deputy’s dash cam and posted on Facebook. Road conditions at the time were wet and sloppy, making them quite slick.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office wrote that under these conditions, some are driving too fast for conditions. They urge drivers to pay attention and drive safely.
