The Beartooth Highway is closed for the season – but apparently not everyone is getting that message. The Wyoming highway Patrol was dispatched to US Highway 212 Friday to aid the driver of a tractor trailer and his passenger who had followed instructions from a GPS on his way to Red Lodge, Montana. The highway patrol says the pair had been stuck on the mountain since Wednesday. Yellowstone National Park joined in the effort to dislodge the stuck truck by sending a front-end loader to cut a path for wreckers to access the vehicle and get it and its load under way once again. The cargo of the ill-fated truck? Snowmobiles.
