Unemployment in Wyoming is on the rise again. The Research & Planning section of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services is reporting that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased from 3.9% in August to 4.1% in September. However, the state’s unemployment rate remained unchanged from its level last year during the month. In Sublette County, the jobless rate increased from 3.4% to 3.8%, while in Teton County, it went up from 1.9% to 2.2%. The state reports that last month, Teton County had 437 fewer jobs to offer than during the same month one year ago. Still, Teton County posted the lowest unemployment rate in the state for the month followed by Crook County at 2.9% of the workforce idled.
