The Upper Green River Basin Sage-Grouse Local Working Group will convene on May 19, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sublette County Conservation District Office, located at 217 Country Club Lane in Pinedale, Wyoming. This in-person-only meeting invites public participation to discuss sage-grouse conservation efforts. Comprising stakeholders from industry, agriculture, conservation, and government, the group meets periodically to develop and review projects aimed at protecting sage-grouse populations and their habitats in the region.
Wyoming’s local sage-grouse working groups play a vital role in collaborative conservation, addressing challenges like habitat loss and land use impacts. The public is encouraged to attend and contribute ideas to support these efforts.
