The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees is scheduled to consider UW’s plan to restart on-campus educational experiences this fall during the board’s regular teleconference meeting at 7:00 am Wednesday. Under the draft plan, before returning to campus and normal operations in August, all students, faculty, and staff would be required to self-isolate for 14 days prior to arriving on campus, take a test for active COVID disease no later than 14 days prior to returning to campus, and complete the COVID-19 online required training. The draft plan calls for all students, faculty, and staff to wear face coverings at all times in communal spaces when a minimum of 6 feet social distancing cannot be followed and conduct a daily temperature and symptom checks while on campus. Under the plan, a 15-week long fall semester would begin on August 24thand ending on December 4th with classes transitioning to online study after Thanksgiving Break. Spring Semester would begin January 25th and not observe Spring Break.
