Teton County Wyoming’s Health Department has announced it is taking COVID-19 vaccine registrations for those 65 years of age and older now but will not begin scheduling those vaccines for folks under 69 until residents 70 or older have been vaccinated.
The next tier will be scheduled in Teton County Wyoming mid-February to mid-March.
Meanwhile, during a briefing Wednesday morning, Eastern Idaho Public Health announced a new, streamlined process for scheduling COVID vaccination appointments in that part of Idaho.
In an effort to make the process for obtaining an appointment as simple as possible, and to provide equitable distribution of vaccine to all individuals desiring it in Idaho’s current priority groups, Eastern Idaho Public Health will assign available vaccination appointments randomly to all individuals who register on the waiting list before Thursday, February 11th at 8:00 am.
Over the course of the following 10 days, appointments will be assigned to individuals, and public health will call or text to inform individuals of their appointments. Those appointments could come as late as the end of March.
To allow the department time to make all the notifications, they ask that residents not call their office before February 22nd to check on your appointment.
