A Veterans Day Memorial Ceremony has been planned for the Town Square at 11:00 am Thursday. American Legion Post #43 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4274 will be hosting a service of remembering. The Jackson Police Department will be hosting the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Walk/Ruck/Run which will begin at the Town Square following the ceremony. Members of the community are invited to join this event to commemorate Veterans while collecting food donations. It is a free event and open to all. Meanwhile, Town Hall Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, and will re-open at 8:00 am on Friday.
