A 12th fatality related to the COVID-19 virus has been reported in Wyoming now. The older man was a resident of a Washakie County long-term care facility, identified earlier as experiencing COVID-19. Testing has so far identified five cases among facility staff and six cases among residents there. Of Wyoming’s 12 reported deaths, two occurred in Colorado and were likely contracted there as well. Wyoming has had a total of 608 lab-confirmed cases and 193 probable cases reported so far among its residents.
