St John’s Health announced Friday that it’s COVID census fell to zero for the first time since late summer.
Dr. Paul Beaupre announced during the weekly update that the vaccines the hospital and health department have been distributing in Teton County to more than 4,000 individuals so far, are nearly perfectly effective at preventing severe illness and death from COVID-19.
In the meantime, however, Dr. Beaupre says we all need to play a part in preventing the disease from wreaking any further havoc on the health of the community. That means adhering to the precautions that have been demonstrated to work – wear a mask, social distance and avoid large crowds.
