Early visitation to Grand Teton National Park as the attraction continues to gradually reopen after the COVID-19 closures continues to be strong as visitors flocked to the park for a second weekend since the park reopened. However, Park Spokesperson Denise Germann says it will be a while before all the facilities there will once again be available.
Germann said, “We are gradually phasing in access to the park and we’re seeing visitors in the park, and we’re seeing smiles and we’re hearing appreciation to have access to this spectacular place; and we’ll continue to provide more access and we’ll continue to watch what’s going on with the COVID- 19 and partner with our local health officials to make those decisions.”
At this point, only one campground – the Gros Ventre Campground – is open in the park.
