Registration for the upcoming general election closes Monday at 5:00 pm. If you did not vote in the last general election, it is advised that you register at the county clerk’s office prior to Monday so that your name will appear on the poll list on election day. A person who has acceptable identification may register to vote not less than 14 days before an election. If you are unable to register early, you may still register at the polls on election day. However, registering on election day can cause delays and lines at the polls. Absentee voting is also available Monday through Friday at the county clerk’s office until November 5th. The county clerk’s office is open from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm daily.
