Draft of Island Park Reservoir was expected to begin in early-to-mid June, compared with July 4th last year, and outflow is likely to increase from about 600 cubic feet per second to 1,000 cfs by early July, and stay around 1,500 cfs (or higher) until mid-August.
Friends of Teton River point out that irrigation demand will soon exceed flow in the Teton River, as storage water is delivered from Island Park Reservoir through the cross-cut canal.
