Jackson Hole Airport may see a little competition from West Yellowstone this summer in the form of flights between that community’s tiny airport and Denver. The service is the first new connection announced at the West Yellowstone Airport in more than four decades.
United Express, which is operated by SkyWest Airlines, is scheduled to offer numerous flights between Denver and West from June 3rd until September 29th. Flights between West Yellowstone and Denver are expected to be similar in travel time to a trip from Bozeman to Denver, according to Airport Manager Jeff Kadlec.
As of late April, the cheapest round-trip ticket prices ranged from $184 to $284, as advertised on airline’s online ticketing.
