As the country slowly gets back to conducting business, a recent survey shows Wyoming as one of the states leading the way. With all states having at least partially reopened as new COVID-19 cases have seen a slow decline, the personal-finance website WalletHub has released updated rankings for the States with the fewest coronavirus restrictions. The data set ranges from whether child-care programs and restaurants have reopened to the presence or absence of a “shelter-in-place” order. When all that was evaluated, Wyoming emerged as the 9th least restricted. It took first place with regard to the requirement to wear a mask, the strictness of a shelter in place order, and the reopening of non-essential businesses. It took second place for the reopening of restaurants and bars. It drops to 22nd for restrictions on large gatherings. Meanwhile, Wyoming’s neighbors; North and South Dakota, Montana, Idaho and Utah emerged as being even less restrictive now than the Cowboy State.
