It is that time of year when many in the community are swapping out their lighter-weight jackets for more serious winter-wear and may discover a coat in their closet for which they no longer have need or may have never worn. The Good Samaritan Mission in Jackson Hole has launched its annual winter coat drive, seeking donations of new or gently used winter coats between now and the end of the month. The coats are intended for homeless men, women and children in the community or families in need. Donations may be dropped off between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm at either the mission on Pearl Street, or at Albertsons or Smith’s Grocery Stores.
