A Winter Storm Warning for Teton County has been issued by the National Weather Service in Riverton.
This Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 2pm Sunday until 5 pm on Monday November 28th
Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches in the Jackson Hole valley and winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
Snowfall amounts of 8 to 16 inches are forecast for the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains with winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Blowing and drifting snow will restrict visibility to a quarter mile at times. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
