With colder weather settling in, the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation team is preparing for increased usage of the indoor climbing gym. As more people move their climbing activities indoors, the gym anticipates reaching its capacity limits, especially during peak hours.
To manage safety and user access, staff may occasionally need to ask individuals or groups to wait in the lobby until space becomes available. Visitors are encouraged to be respectful of the staff and facility while waiting and are reminded to enter through the check-in desk.
Peak hours typically occur between 5:00 p.m. and closing time, with the gym being less busy before 3:00 p.m. For a smoother experience, Parks and Recreation encourages climbers to visit earlier in the day whenever possible.
Due to capacity demands, belay tests may be unavailable or limited during high-traffic times or when certain programs are running. For information on programming and availability, check the weekly schedule at the gym check-in desk or on the Parks and Recreation website: Teton County Facility Hours and Schedules.
The Parks and Recreation team thanks the community for their patience and looks forward to supporting local climbers throughout the winter.
