A single-vehicle accident in Idaho claimed one life and had traffic snarled in Swan Valley for hours Monday as motorists were returning home from a long holiday weekend.
Emergency crews cleared the scene late afternoon Monday. Idaho State Police reported a vehicle left the highway and rolled down an embankment near Antelope Flats.
The victim has been identified as Marie Walker, 21, of Iona. She was driving eastbound in a 2001 Chevrolet Metro when she failed to negotiate a curve, according to ISP.
