A 22-year-old woman from Long Island, New York disappeared while traveling in Wyoming, and her family is pleading for help to determine her whereabouts.
Gabrielle Petito, of Blue Point, had been traveling with a companion in a white 2012 Ford Transit van, which has since been recovered, but she stopped communicating with friends and family. According to her family, they were last in contact with her during the last week of August with that last known communication believed to have been in Grand Teton National Park.
She was reported missing on Saturday. Petito is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and a forearm tattoo that says “let it be.”
If you have any information on Gabrielle’s whereabouts, call the Suffolk County Police at 800 220 8477.
