The state also makes the top 10 for its low foreclosures, with the seventh-lowest foreclosure rate in the company’s analysis. The average real estate price per square foot in Wyoming is $174. Neighboring Idaho is the best state for homeowners for the second-straight year, experiencing a price-per-square-foot increase of 12.12% from 2017 to 2018, the second-highest rate in the top 10. Currently, the average real estate price per square foot in Idaho, is $161.
