With the 2022 Wyoming Budget Session behind us now and bills simply awaiting the Governor’s signature, Teton County Senator Mike Gireau says the legislature passed some much-needed funding for water projects and capital construction. Specifically, Gierau says the money for water projects is not just good for his constituents but for communities across the state.
“There’s enough money in there (and there are) communities like Rawlins, Pavillion, other communities, and Jackson too; around Jackson some of the water districts who need it, have concerns about their drinking water and the continued flow of potable drinking water for communities all around the state.”
Gierau also says money for a Central Wyoming College Outreach Center to be built in Jackson was included in the capital construction bill which passed without any line-item vetoes.
