The Wyoming Energy Authority Board has appointed Rob Creager as the new Executive Director. Creager, a Wyoming native, was previously the Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Mark Gordon, where he led multiple efforts, including the implementation of multiple pieces of federal legislation and the creation of Wyoming’s broadband buildout. Creager will bring an understanding of the energy sector’s critical impact on Wyoming’s jobs and revenues to the role, in addition to strong relationships within Wyoming and on a national level.
The board has also announced changes in governance leadership, with Wendy Hutchinson as the new Chairwoman of the Board, Wanda Burget as Vice Chairwoman, and Mark Stege as Secretary and Treasurer. Hutchinson has over thirty-five years of experience in industrial site development, environmental management, and external affairs.
